In the Upper Curueño we can visit the waterfall of Nocedo. About 5 km from La Vecilla, in the direction of the Mountain Pass of Vegarada and before reaching Nocedo de Curueño, we find on our left a road sign leading us to the waterfall or “ponytail” (cola de caballo), also known as the waterfall of Valdorria, since it is the Valdorria river streaming down from the village of the same name that shape it by flowing above an steep drop in the terrain to join the Curueño river.
